When you become a mom, personal time becomes a distant memory. As much as we love giving it all up for our babies, there’s no denying that the constant demands of motherhood can leave you longing for just a few minutes to focus on yourself or work.
That’s where Club-V comes in, and it’s honestly become a game-changer for me and my baby. I didn’t realise just how vital it would be in our daily routine until we tried it. Having 2 hours a day to hit the gym, join a class, grab a coffee, or get some work done at the co-working stations at Kauai or Nü, feels like winning the mom lottery. It’s the perfect balance of taking care of myself while knowing that my baby is in great hands.
We started going to Club-V when Bobby was just 8 weeks old. My husband and I would get in a quick workout and then fetch our little one from the safe, nurturing care of the club’s amazing staff. It became part of our daily rhythm – one that we all looked forward to. The best part? I knew Bobby was in the hands of trained professionals who were genuinely invested in his well-being. That peace of mind alone made all the difference.
As Bobby grew older, Club-V continued to offer the perfect environment for his development. It provided him with opportunities to be stimulated and socialised in ways that I couldn’t always replicate at home. Watching him interact with the other babies and form those early social bonds made me realise how much value Club-V added to his life. It gave him the chance to explore, play, and grow, while I was able to take a step back and recharge.
Besides being a personal chef to a boss baby, a maid, a human jungle gym, I am also a photographer. Which means I need dedicated, uninterrupted time to focus on my editing. The co-working stations in the club are the perfect balance between comfort and productivity, providing a space where you can relax while getting serious work done – and as someone who spends a lot of time in front of my laptop, it’s the ideal environment to get creative without distractions.
In a world where self-care often takes a backseat to the demands of motherhood, finding a place like Club-V has been invaluable. It’s not just a space for moms to get a break – it’s a community where both mom and baby can thrive. The support from the staff, the stimulating environment for Bobby, and the opportunity for me to pursue my passions and work have made all the difference in maintaining my sense of balance and well-being.
I’m grateful for the space it provides for both of us, and it has truly become a part of our daily routine that I wouldn’t trade for anything.
